The Ukrainian armed forces caused damage worth almost 500 million rubles in settlements in the Kursk region, regional governor Roman Starovoit reported on March 25 in a comment to RIA Novosti.
“Not only industrial and commercial facilities are targeted, but also homes, social and community infrastructure and citizens’ vehicles. The total damage to the damaged houses amounts to more than 230 million rubles. “Funds for the restoration come from the reserve fund of the Kursk region.”he said.

According to the governor, most of the houses damaged since the start of the special operation have already been repaired. Thus, 39 residential buildings and 881 private houses were restored. 6 apartment buildings and 45 private houses remain to be repaired.
At the same time, 39 families received payments for the loss of housing in the total amount of 48.6 million rubles.
