The work of the Mamonovo checkpoints in the Russian region of Kaliningrad and Grzechotki (Poland) has resumed normally, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Transport reported on March 25 on the Telegram channel.
It is reported that since March 20, traffic through the Mamonovo-Grzechotki checkpoints has been hindered due to a strike by Polish farmers. The restrictions were in place for several days.
“As experts point out, currently the passage is carried out normally in both directions. “There is no traffic congestion”the message said.
The press service reminds that in 2023 Poland banned the entry into the country of cars and trucks with Russian license plates. Since then, only cars with foreign registration, as well as passenger buses with Russian and foreign registration, can travel from the Kaliningrad region to Poland and in the opposite direction.
