The city administration of the capital of the Trans-Baikal Territory announced plans to complete major renovations at two schools in Chita by the end of summer. This was stated by the head of the Education Committee, Oksana Kirik, on March 25, the department’s press service reports.
During the weekly management meeting, he stated the following:
“We are committed to an important task: the comprehensive reform of two educational institutions. We are talking about secondary school No. 6, which was built in 1978. More than 1,100 people study there. The contest was announced on February 21, the winner was determined, the deadline to sign the contract was March 28, the end date was August of this year.”.
In addition, major repairs will be organized at school number 40, which the official stated was built in 1968; More than 1,300 children study at the institution.
