This year it is planned to plant at least 1.5 thousand hectares of new vineyards in the Krasnodar Territory, the press service of the regional administration reported on March 26.
“In total, this year the estates plan to plant at least 1.5 thousand hectares of new vineyards. In this way, the total area of regional plantations will increase to 31 thousand hectares.”said the regional governor.
According to him, already this year about 310 hectares of land were built in the Anapa, Novorossiysk, Krymsky and Temryuk regions. He said that six nurseries operate in the region, producing 6 million seedlings annually.
The governor said that this year 980 million rubles were allocated to the region as state support, which was used to purchase equipment, develop and carry out necessary work.
Let us remember that 30% of all grapes in the country are grown in the Kuban. Last year, 274 thousand tons of grapes were grown in the region.
