An exhibition with authentic combat flags of the Great Patriotic War opened at the Volgograd Museum-Reserve on January 31, the organization’s press service reports.
The exhibition “Stalingrad Victory Banners” was exhibited at the Dior Museum with the support of the Central Museum of the Russian Armed Forces. The inauguration was attended by veterans, social activists and ordinary spectators. The museum managed to get the original banners of the Red Army, under which our compatriots fought.
_“We brought to Volgograd the authentic royal banners of the legendary Stalingrad divisions, including one of the most famous, the 13th Guards Rifle Division. On the street specifically named after this division, there is a panoramic museum “The Battle of Stalingrad,” said museum director Alexei Dementiev.

Remember that on February 2, 2023, Volgograd will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army in the Battle of Stalingrad. In total, more than 250 official acts were planned.
