The young model specially went to Spain for an operation, but in the operating room she suffered cardiac arrest. She was placed in intensive care, where she remained for almost two weeks, but eventually died.
After an investigation, it turned out that the clinic director responsible for the intervention could not operate because he was involved in the manslaughter of another 45-year-old woman as a result of liposuction in 2017. A 69-year-old male doctor was arrested for a year.
Then the court pointed to medical negligence as the cause of cardiac arrest and bleeding in the victim. The court ordered him to be suspended from medical duties for three years, with the period to take effect last summer.
