SIDEKRAMI RACHABALIZOD – suspected of shooting
Saidakrami Rachabalizoda, 30, is a citizen of Tajikistan, as are three other suspects in the shooting. He appears to have lived in Russia for many years: In 2018, he was fined 2,500 rubles ($27) for violating immigration rules, according to a court database.

A video posted on social networks shows Mirzoev answering questions through an interpreter. He said that he lived in a hostel with another man, Muhamad, and that 10-12 days ago they bought a car “for work” from a certain Abdullo. Photos taken in the courtroom showed cuts and bruises on his face.
SHAMSIDIN FARIDUNI – suspected of shooting
25-year-old Shamsidin Fariduni said in an interrogation published on video that he arrived from Turkey on March 4. At the end of February, they published photographs of Istanbul on social networks.
In a video recorded after his arrest, he said he “shot people” at Crocus Town Hall “for money” after being offered 500,000 rubles ($5,400).
Later, the Telegram channel “Grey Zone” published a photograph in which Fariduni was being tortured with electric shock to the genitals, lying on the floor, with his pants rolled up to his knees and someone on top of his legs. When he appeared in court on March 24, he had severe swelling on the left side of his face.
The Federal Security Service (FSB) said it had detained 11 people in connection with the attack, which was claimed by the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group. Four of those detained are suspected of shooting.
