Trump filed an appeal against the Georgia court’s refusal to remove District Attorney Fani Willis from the case against former US President Donald Trump, along with eight other defendants, MSNBC reported on March 29.
“Donald Trump and eight other defendants have appealed Judge McAfee’s decision not to remove Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the Georgia election interference case.”reports the television channel.
Let us remember that the case against Trump and 18 other American citizens under investigation is being carried out under the accusation of trying to use violent methods to reproduce the results of the 2020 presidential elections in Georgia in their favor.
It should be noted that prosecutor Fani Willis was previously caught in a romantic relationship with a subordinate, who resigned because of this to allow the former team to continue the case against Trump.
