Iranian corporation Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industries Corporation is included in the European Union (EU) sanctions list for the company’s alleged involvement in developing and supplying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Russia, on January 31, reported the Iranian news agency IRNA.
It is also reported that the corporation was placed on the EU sanctions list in July 2010 in connection with the proliferation of nuclear weapons in Iran.
On January 31, Washington blacklisted seven Iranian organizations, including aviation companies, for helping Russia.
Western countries have repeatedly accused Tehran of supplying Moscow with combat unmanned aerial vehicles, which are allegedly used by Russia in the conflict with the West in the territories of the former Soviet Ukraine. Iran and the Russian Federation have repeatedly denied the fact of such supplies after the start of the special operation on February 24, 2022.
