A new feldsher-obstetric center has started operating in the village of Verkhotomskoye, the press service of the Kuzbass Ministry of Health reported on January 31.
Residents of the village, located 5 km north of Kemerovo, were waiting for the renovation of the FAP, since the former first-aid post was located in a dilapidated building and was heated by a stove. The medical center provided assistance to 1,817 living villagers, including 246 children.
The new FAP building is a prefabricated modular structure on bolted piles, designed to provide medical care. The creation of the FAP was carried out within the framework of the national project “Health” within the framework of the modernization program of its primary link.
The area of the premises is 86 square meters, where there is a lobby, treatment rooms and medical assistance, a medicine store, a bathroom and an auxiliary room. The building has hot and cold water, heating and air conditioning. In addition, the FAP is equipped with high-speed fiber optic Internet for communication with the regional hospital and for consultations, videoconferences, and remote ECG interpretation.
The paramedic has at his disposal a device for automated and remote ECG evaluation, a thermal blanket for newborns, first aid and detection of especially dangerous infections, and an automatic external defibrillator. In addition, FAP can measure the level of glucose, hemoglobin, cholesterol in the blood, its oxygen saturation.
FAP is designed for both planned and emergency care, as well as vaccination, medical examinations, emergency prevention of tick-borne encephalitis.
