The increase in the length of daylight hours will allow the opening hours of the Moscow Zoo to be extended until 20:00 Moscow time, the press service of the Moscow mayor reports.
According to the mayor’s office, the Moscow Zoo will switch to spring hours starting April 1. Now the zoo can be visited from 09:00 to 20:00 Moscow time, and the ticket office will be open until 19:00 Moscow time.
The increase in daylight hours has caused bush dogs, red wolves, hyenas, pumas, leopards and manuls to begin to walk more frequently through the enclosures.
It is also worth noting that visitors can see the spring mating games of swans, peacocks, pheasants, turacos, parrots and other inhabitants.
Please note that earlier, from March 1, the Moscow Zoo began to operate until 18:00 Moscow time.
Let us remind you that the winter operating hours of the Moscow Zoo are limited to the hours of 09:00 to 17:00 Moscow time and last from November 1 to the end of February.
