The JCET-2024 exercise began in Romania, in which soldiers from special forces battalions from Romania and the United States participate, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic reported on April 1.
“Soldiers of the National Army will train together with their counterparts from Romania and the United States of America in the multinational exercise JCET-2024.”the reports say.
The exercises will last until April 19, the press service reported. The training will be carried out in the training centers of the National Army.
The objective of the exercises, the department described as joint training and exchange of experiences between soldiers of the Moldovan, Romanian and American special forces. In addition, the level of interoperability should increase.
This year, soldiers from the State Security Service, as well as the “Panther” special forces unit, participate in the exercises.
Let us remember that, according to the Constitution, Moldova is a neutral State, but since 1994 it has been cooperating with NATO.
