Three young people, aged 25, 20 and 17, were seriously injured in a knife attack at a shopping center in Gan Yavne in southern Israel this Sunday, according to the report. Times of Israel.
All victims were taken to Assuta hospital. This Monday, the hospital reported that two of the victims were transferred to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv and Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva for neurosurgery due to serious head injuries.
The attacker, identified as a 19-year-old Palestinian man, was shot dead by security forces at the scene. Authorities say the youth used two knives and are describing the incident as a terrorist attack.
According to the same source, the attack on the shopping center was the second of the day in the city, after an off-duty soldier was wounded at Beersheba’s main bus station.
