SOCAR is willing to extend the gas supply contract to Romania until 2026

The Azerbaijan Oil Company (SOCAR) intends to extend the gas supply contract signed with Romania until 2026, as reported by SOCAR Vice President Elshad Nasirov at the VIII meeting of the intergovernmental commission between Azerbaijan and Romania for cooperation commercial and economic, TASS reports on April 1.

It should be noted that on December 31, 2020, Azerbaijan began supplying gas on a commercial basis to Europe through the Trans-Adriatic Gas Pipeline, which is an integral part of the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC).
