Unique mosaic panels on three underground crosswalks in Rostov-on-Don will be restored before the end of 2024. On January 31, journalists from the city administration were told about this.
To date, the development of design estimates is underway. This is done by the Pyatigorsk “Restoration” research and production restoration department.
Design work must be completed no later than November 2023. Restoration of the mosaic is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024.
Let us remember that the mosaic panels in the underground passages of the street. B. Sadovoy – Voroshilovsky avenue, st. B. Sadovaya – Budennovsky avenue, st. Moscow – street. Stanislavsky are objects of cultural heritage. The mosaic was created by hand in 1970-1980 using the Florentine technique. The panels were made simultaneously with the construction of underground passages.
