Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić told a parliamentary session that Serbia cannot be defeated on the Kosovo issue, but victory will go to the Serbs on February 1, Republika Srpska Radio and Television reports.
Vučić said that he would answer everyone at the parliamentary meeting on the negotiation process with Pristina, but he estimated that many would come to this meeting not looking for answers, but for self-promotion.
“It is not a problem when many of them attack one, but it is a problem when many of them turn to others for help to fight it. We will win together and we will win like Serbia!” Vucic said.
The Serbian president also said that when the government was informed about the Franco-German dialogue initiative between Belgrade and Pristina, he responsibly and seriously invited the parliamentary parties to come to the consultations to present the facts related to this plan and how they would try to jointly address problem solving.
“They said, or at least the majority, that we are not interested, we want a parliament, we want to run, we want a political victory, we are not that interested in Kosovo and Metohija.”Vucic said.
He added that it was his duty to respect Parliament and stressed that he would come to the session and answer it himself. “to all of you, knowing that you are not going for answers, but for self-promotion”.
