A family of six was displaced on Tuesday evening after a house fire in Arcos de Valdeves. There are no reports of injuries.
At around 21:00, the firefighters of Valdevez were given a fire warning at a house in Eixo Velho alley in Tavor, Santa Maria and San Vicente district. When investigators arrived, the residents were already near the house. Residents will be relocated with the support of the parish council to a temporary home.
The first fire brigade of Arcos de Valdeves prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring houses. Despite this, the flames destroyed the first floor of the house.
Arcos de Valdevez GNR was called to the scene and is investigating the cause of the fire.
