The woman arrested for complicity in the robbery and kidnapping of a PSP agent in Benfica, in her first testimony, denied any crime, saying that the incident stemmed from a sexual encounter, consensual and pre-arranged, with a policeman and two other men. According to her, one of them disappeared from the scene.
Early on Monday morning, a woman and her husband tried to rob a police officer with a replica firearm in Algès, forcing him to go to an ATM. The PSP agent led them to the house and, under threat, killed the man with a service weapon with a precise shot in the heart.
The woman was later intercepted on a public road, already in her car, as she was about to flee. As a result, she was detained by PSP. The building on Atriz Maria Matos Street is one of two adjacent buildings built by PSP Montepio, where only police officers live.
The case is being investigated by the SP. The woman is in pre-trial detention. The agent was named as a defendant, but was released and returned to duty because the death was caused by self-defense.
