The First Amendment to the United States (US) Constitution does not protect the statements of the former president and 14 other defendants believed to be Scott McAfee in Fulton County Superior Court.
On March 13, a judge dismissed three charges against Donald Trump and three charges against other defendants, finding that allegations that they tried to convince Georgian authorities to break their oath were unfounded.
The remaining 35 criminal charges, including 10 against Donald Trump, remain in effect. The crimes include conspiracy to defraud the United States, obstruction of justice, conspiracy to deprive voters of the right to a fair election and witness tampering.
