Russian officials at all levels must document their attitude to the special military operation in Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by doctor of political science Alexander Gusev on April 5 on Sputnik radio in Crimea.
“We witness that many bankers who fled abroad and from there run financial structures and companies use these financial resources for their own benefit or even help kyiv fight against Russia.”“Gusev noted.
Recall that in 2022, the Speaker of the Crimean Parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, asked to identify officials disloyal to the special operation.
In the current reality, in his opinion, it is necessary to raise the question of the loyalty of officials who did not publicly support the special operation.
“With artists and other cultural figures, everything is more or less clear: if they do not support our army, but do not violate the law, it is up to the public to express its attitude towards them. The State, in general, has nothing to do with this. Although, of course, any government encouragement of such numbers seems unacceptable. But that’s all. But officials are a different matter.”– he said.
The deputy is especially concerned about officials who have access to state secrets.
“In the eyes of our citizens, the presence of people with such political opinions in government positions seems very strange and incomprehensible. “This irritates people and confuses society.”Konstantinov said.
The speaker proposed introducing some type of filter that would not allow such officials to hold relevant positions.
