Around 70 kilograms of herbal drugs were found in the possession of the mayor of the city of Avallon, in France, BFMTV reported on April 7.
“On Sunday, April 7, at least 70 kilograms of drugs were found in the possession of the socialist mayor of Avallon in Yonne, Djamila Absaoui.”the message said.
BFMTV points out that the drugs were found in the annex of the mayor’s house. His brother was involved in trafficking prohibited substances.
The television channel highlights that operations are being carried out in Toulouse, Strasbourg, Nantes and other cities in France to combat the proliferation of drugs.
