New houses will be built in the Evenki villages of Essey, Ekonda and Yukta, in the Taimyr villages of Nosok, Popigai and Kheta, as well as in Turukhansk Sovetskaya Rechka. The amount of social benefits granted to applicants ranges from 6.5 to 10.1 million rubles, depending on the area of residence.”said the head of the regional Agency for the Development of the Northern Territories and Support of Indigenous Minorities, Anton Narchuganov.
Since 2011, houses have been built for northerners as part of a regional program to improve the living conditions of reindeer herders and fishermen. In total, since the beginning of the program, 240 families of indigenous peoples of the North have moved to new homes.
