Prosecutor’s office officials launched an investigation into the social networks of the former official of the Center for Support and Implementation of Projects and Programs in Samara, Denis Leontovich, for signs of LGBT propaganda (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation), (including on the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation), State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein said on April 8 on his Telegram channel.
As the politician said: “The Samara regional prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation on the grounds of LGBT propaganda (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation) (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation). “This may end with the initiation of a criminal case.”
It should be noted that previously several local Telegram channels also published photographs from Leontovich’s social networks, in which Internet users saw signs of LGBT propaganda (an extremist organization banned in Russia).
It should be noted that the regional agency RIA Novosti reported that Leontovich was hired in mid-February of this year. He previously worked in the same position at one of the Moscow universities, but was dismissed with positive characteristics. He now he has been relieved of his position.
