Experience and attacking football are the main qualities of the 66-year-old Italian, who has coached Atalanta since 2016. This season, Gasperini crossed paths with Sporting in the Europa League. They faced the Lions four times (group stage and round of 16) and never lost. They won two games and drew the rest.
