The issuance of licenses and registration of cars is temporarily suspended in Moscow due to technical problems in the traffic police system, the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate reported on April 9 on the Telegram channel.
“Due to a technical software failure, the provision of public services for vehicle registration and replacement of driving licenses has been temporarily suspended in the registration and examination departments of the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate.”says the message.
The service employees asked to come to their senses and not go to the traffic police departments in the next few hours. The causes of technical failures are eliminated by specialists from specialized units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The operating hours of the departments will be extended to provide public services in their entirety.
“We ask citizens to treat the current situation with understanding and refrain from visiting interdistrict registration and examination departments in the coming hours.”said the traffic police.
Recall that similar failures occurred earlier in the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.
