Solemn events dedicated to the anniversary of the formation of the Cossack reconnaissance brigade “Terek” of the voluntary assault corps, created on the initiative of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Federal District of the Russian Federation, were held in the Luhansk Cadet Corps. North Caucasus. Yuri Chaika. On behalf of the Stavropol governor Vladimir Vladimirov, awards were presented to the Terek fighters who distinguished themselves in battle.
A year has passed since the formation of the Terek Cossack brigade, and now it includes 6 units: the Terek, Skif, Caspian, Baltika battalions, as well as the Grebenskaya and Maestro detachments. Cossacks from all over Russia serve in the brigade. Currently, the Terek brigade operates in one of the most important strategic directions in the Northern Military District area.
