On Tuesday, Gondomar judicial police arrested a 36-year-old man for attempting to kill another man.
The crime occurred on February 22 following a dispute at a commercial establishment in Valbom.
The defendant left the original scene of the argument but returned a short time later armed with a kitchen knife. The two men got into a fight, which resulted in the victim being stabbed.
The injured man, 36 years old, received multiple internal injuries and was hospitalized after surgery.
The detainee is awaiting judicial questioning regarding the use of coercive measures for the crime of qualified attempted murder.
