Federal budget funds worth 5.1 billion rubles were allocated to Crimea for the repair of bank protection structures destroyed by the “storm of the century,” wrote the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, on April 10 in his Telegram channel.
“In general, this program is designed for three years. In addition, 3.2 billion rubles were allocated from the republican budget for the restoration of infrastructure and housing damaged as a result of the emergency.”he added.
According to him, 69 objects have been identified on the Black Sea coast of Crimea that need to be restored and reconstructed.
“This year it is planned to work on 26 facilities: 22 on the territory of the Yalta municipality, 2 in the Nikolaevsky rural settlement and 2 in Alushta”“Aksyonov noted.
In addition, repairs to the embankment in Sudak have already begun, the total amount of which will amount to about 60 million rubles. It will cost the authorities another 7 million rubles to restore the bank in the village of Geroevskoye in the Kerch municipality.
In addition, the regional authorities will allocate 280 million rubles to strengthen the road and repair the embankment in the village of Morskoye Sudak.
Let us remember that at the end of November 2023 a strong storm hit the Crimean peninsula. As a result of the disaster, dikes and coastal structures in many Crimean settlements were damaged.
