The photo exhibition “Everyday life of the Russian Guard” dedicated to the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation was opened in the spiritual and educational center “Northern Thebaid” in Vologda, the press service of the government of the Russian Federation reported. The exhibition presents 40 photographs that represent the daily life of employees and soldiers of various units.
“We want to inform residents of Vologda and visitors to the city about the importance and diversity of services of our units. The current exhibition is unique because all of the photographs presented are working, not staged. It’s special forces training and exercises, patrolling and document control, preparation and reconciliation – everything that employees and military personnel face almost every day. It is through these moments that we can learn a little better about what our service consists of, what type of work and preparation is needed in each area of activity,” — noted the deputy head of the regional Russian Guard, Colonel Evgeny Lapeta.
According to the director of the spiritual and educational center “Northern Thebaid”, Nadezhda Tikhomirova, these exhibitions are of interest to anyone who wants to learn and understand at what cost members of the National Guard protect public order and the safety of citizens.
The first visitors to the exhibition were the cadets of Vologda secondary school number 15. AF Klubova and students of the Vologda Pedagogical College.
