As part of the project, digital volunteers collect voice recordings from anyone interested. Thus, with the help of these recordings, artificial intelligence will learn the Yakut language with the ability to translate texts. Neural networks will help those who want to learn a language, understand it and generate their own content.
According to the organizers, many available voice and text models do not include the Yakut language, which limits the possibilities of their use, so the main mission of the project is to preserve the Yakut language in the future.
Let us remember that “Priority 2030” is the largest state program of support for universities in the history of modern Russia. Universities participating in it receive subsidies from the federal budget in the form of grants. The program operates on the basis of Government Decree No. 729 of May 13, 2021.
There are two parts of the subsidy: basic (the minimum amount is 100 million rubles per year for the university participating in the program) and special (calculated according to a certain formula and can amount to up to one billion rubles). Both the basic and special parts of the subsidy are designed for ten years. Universities can spend this money to implement the development programs they have developed.
The goal of the Priority 2030 program is to form a group of universities – national leaders that meet the scientific, technological and personnel needs of the economy and the social sphere, increase the global competitiveness of the higher education system and promote the regional development of the project federal “Development of integration processes in the field of science, higher education and industry” (this is part of the national project “Science and Universities”).
