The motor ship “Ursa Mayor” is a universal dry cargo ship of RO-RO/LO-LO class (horizontal and vertical loading). It is designed for the transportation of general cargo (including oversized cargo), containers and rolling equipment (cars, trucks and other equipment).
The ship is equipped with two cranes, each with a lifting capacity of 350 tons. Packaged cargoes, equipment, containers and other goods weighing up to 1,200 tons are placed in the cargo hold of the ship. The loading platform can accommodate up to 120 units of rolling, wheeled or tracked vehicles. The five-level open platform can accommodate more than 405 twenty-foot containers.
