The Judicial Police (PJ) of Viana do Castelo is investigating the cause of death of a 60-year-old man who was found dead this Wednesday at his home in Meadela parish, a police source said.
Contacting the Lusa agency, a source from the PSP district command in Viana do Castelo said evidence found at the location where the man was found aroused the suspicions of the Criminal Investigation Core (NIC) agents, leading to reporting the case to the SP.
The warning came at around 3:30 p.m. When the police officers arrived at the scene, they were at the home of the victim’s family.
At 7:20 pm, the PSP requested the removal of the body, which was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML) in Viana do Castelo.
Three vehicles and six operators from PSP, PJ and volunteer firefighters from Viana do Castelo arrived on the scene.
