Temperatures in Lisbon are expected to reach 30 degrees next Saturday, according to the forecast prepared for the Parc des Nations area (east). In the Botanical Garden, Ajuda and the airport the figure is 29 degrees.
However, the highest temperature expected on the mainland will be in Alcácer do Sal, where it will reach 32 degrees.
The passage of a hot tropical air mass indicates 31 degrees on the same day in Santarem, 30 in Leiria and Setúbal.
According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere, “Slightly cloudy to clear skies are expected on Saturday. Winds generally light from the eastern quadrant, temporarily blowing from the northwest to the west coast in the afternoon, moderate to strong (25 to 40 km/h) in the Algarve mountains. Fog or morning fog may form in some places in the Northern and Central regions.”
