Grandiose fireworks, a light and pyrotechnics show, as well as an artillery salute on the Central Embankment will take place in Volgograd, in honor of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet army in the Battle of Stalingrad. This was announced on February 2 by the Committee for Culture of the Volgograd Region, Komsomolskaya Pravda reports.
According to the committee, 200 small-caliber high-altitude launchers will be used to create a large-scale and voluminous fireworks display.
“6 high-power linear sound portals will be used. The Zvezda laser machine will create a pattern in the air.”the committee representatives said.
On February 2, 2023 at 20:45 on the Central embankment of Volgograd a “Minute of Silence” will begin. It will be accompanied by a projection on giant screens near the Propylaea in front of the main staircase. At 9:00 p.m. the fireworks and a unique pyrotechnic musical performance will begin.
Remember that 80 years ago, one of the greatest and hardest battles of the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War ended – the Battle of Stalingrad.
