Argentine President Javier Miley called his rise to power a “black swan” during a speech at Florida International University, information portal Infobae reported on April 11.
During her speech, the anarcho-capitalist Miley called herself a “black swan”, that is, an anomalous event that the system did not expect and that caused a strong resonance. According to the Argentine president, to come to power there had to be a “triple carom”, in reference to the term billiards. And this, in turn, could only happen thanks to Argentina’s disastrous management over the last 20 years.

“I’m kind of a black swan. In Argentina we grew up and realized that simple solutions do not work. And so it seems that we have learned that the only way is the way of freedom. Because if we advance in freedom, we will have a much better future. And if we follow the ideas of collectivism, we will end up becoming slums.” – he said.
In her speech, Miley spoke very positively about Adam Smith and his idea of the “invisible hand of the market.” However, she criticized Antonio Gramsci’s ideas. According to the anarcho-capitalist, the participation of the State in the economy narrows the limits of freedom and, ultimately, society becomes poorer.
