CCTV cameras captured a woman dressed as a nun dragging and dumping her friend’s corpse in a suitcase on a street in Santiago, Chile. Mirror. The alarm was reported by a local resident who discovered the body.
Chilean authorities initially believed the murder was a crime committed by a drug cartel in Santiago, but the photographs taken gave a new direction to the investigation.
The video shows an 80-year-old nun trying to remove a suitcase that contained the body of another young nun.
The 58-year-old victim reportedly died of natural causes a year ago and was only released because the 80-year-old woman’s daughter insisted that the body be buried.
Local police determined that the body was placed in a suitcase as a sign of “affection and devotion.”
The investigation also concluded that during their lifetime both nuns entered into an agreement that each would take care of the other even after death.
The head nun was not arrested, but is entitled to be charged with violating the health code.
