Eleonora Coppola, American documentary filmmaker, director, writer and artist, woman Francis Ford Coppola, dead aged 87, moving forward AP. Eleanor died this Friday at home in Rutherford, California.
Eleanor, who grew up in Orange County, California, met Francis while working as an assistant art director on his directorial debut, Roger Corman’s 1963 horror film Dementia 13.
Eleanor documented much of the chaos in the 1991 film Hearts of Darkness, which went on to become one of the most famous films about cinema.
In 2016, at the age of 80, Eleanor made her debut in the romantic comedy Paris Can Wait, starring Diane Lane. “Love Is Love Is Love” followed in 2020.
