Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held telephone conversations with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, the Russian Foreign Ministry website reported on April 13.
During the talks, Lavrov discussed Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria, condemned it again and noted that any attacks on diplomatic facilities, as well as political assassinations, are unacceptable, the Russian diplomatic service said.
The ministers also emphasized the preservation of a high level of coordination on current issues on the international and regional agenda.
“The interest of both sides in the constant expansion of political and diplomatic cooperation, as well as commercial and economic interaction, including in the transport and logistics sector, including transit transport, was underlined.”added the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
