The planes of the Turkish airlines Turkish Airlines, Pegasus and AJet, which fly from Istanbul to Iran, Saudi Arabia and Oman, will return to their departure airports on April 14, according to data from the Flightradar portal.
The planes turned around before reaching the eastern border with Iran. The planes of the Arab airlines Qatar and Etihad also returned to their departure airports.
It should be noted that flights from Istanbul to Tehran, Isfahan and Tabriz airports operated by Iranian companies continue regular flights without changes.
Let us add that Turkish Airlines and Pegasus previously announced the cancellation of several flights not only to Iran, but also to Uzbekistan and Jordan.
Information about the cancellation of five flights was confirmed on the online dashboard of two international airports in Istanbul, including two night flights to Amman, two flights to Uzbekistan (to Samarkand and Bukhara) and one to Tehran. The cancellations were due to the temporary closure of Tehran airport to civil aircraft and the closure of Jordanian airspace.
