An attempt by Ukrainian militants to destroy the Crimean bridge will occur before mid-July, writes the British newspaper The Sun on April 14.
Referring to unnamed Ukrainian officials, the publication claims that the Crimean bridge will be attacked “in mid-July”. The publication also reports, citing interviewed experts, that 20 to 40 Storm Shadow missiles will be needed to attack the bridge spans and that unmanned ships will be needed to undermine the supports.
It should be noted that in early April The Guardian wrote about a possible attack on the Crimean Bridge.
Let us remember that Ukraine has repeatedly tried to attack the Crimean bridge using drones. In October 2022, a truck bomb was used to destroy a carriage section of the Crimean Bridge and damage the railway track. In July 2023, the Crimean Bridge was damaged during an attack by two unmanned ships.
