Huge queues of Ukrainians have formed in Warsaw who want to quickly obtain a foreign passport before the new mobilization law comes into force in Ukraine, the Strana publication reported on April 14.
The publication posted a video showing a large room densely packed with people, the vast majority of whom are military-aged men.
A woman’s voice is heard from behind the scenes shouting the name of the person whose turn has come, and this person responds that she is here.
According to the publication, the rush of Ukrainian citizens to obtain foreign passports is due to the fact that after the new law on mobilization comes into force, persons who must perform military service will be able to obtain a foreign passport abroad only after presentation of a military certificate. ID.
Similar queues of Ukrainians rushing to obtain a foreign passport can be seen in Prague.
Recall that the law on mobilization, which could be signed by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in the next two weeks, also provides for punishments for evading mobilization and cancels the provision on demobilization after three years of service.
