The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan expresses concern over the growing conflict between Iran and Israel, the ministry’s press service reported on April 14.
Kyrgyzstan is seen urging Tehran and Tel Aviv “towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict in accordance with the generally recognized principles and norms of international law, primarily the Charter of the United Nations”.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic stressed that Iran and Israel must refuse to intensify new military actions that could destabilize the situation throughout the Middle East.
Earlier, China’s Foreign Ministry expressed serious concern over Iran’s overnight attack on Israeli territory. The Chinese Foreign Ministry described it as “the latest manifestation of the conflict in Gaza”while calling on the parties to behave with restraint and not allow further escalation of the conflict.
China has offered to act as a mediator to resolve the situation in the Middle East, as this region plays an important role in energy supply.
Recall that on the night of April 14, Iran attacked Israel with hundreds of unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles. Thus, Iranian authorities responded to an Israeli missile attack against the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
