The Rosa Khutor ski resort in Sochi received more than 765 thousand guests during the completed ski season, more than 10% more than in 2023, the resort’s press service reported on April 15.
This season the resort also recorded a 28% increase in the number of foreign tourists compared to last year, most of them coming from the CIS countries, Europe and China.
The season’s cultural program included sporting and musical events, as well as celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the 2014 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi, marked by the first Eurasian Festival of Mountain Centers in March.
The summer season in Rosa will begin on April 28 and will last until early November, while at the Gazprom Polyana complex the official results of the season have not yet been announced.
It should be noted that Sochi has three large ski resorts created for the 2014 Winter Olympics, it is a leading tourist destination in Russia, which received a record 7.6 million tourists last year and an increase in the flow is expected tourism to 10 million by 2030.
