
The Israeli government believes that “inevitable” The response to Iran must be coordinated with the US administration, NBC News reported on April 15.
Citing an unnamed Israeli official, the publication reports that during a meeting of the Israeli Cabinet of Ministers, several diplomatic and military options for responding to Iran were considered. The publication’s interlocutor emphasized: “Any response will be agreed with the Americans”.
Earlier on Monday, The Wall Street Journal, citing Western officials, reported that the United States has no intention of participating in Israel’s retaliatory strike and calls for no escalation.
It should be noted that on the afternoon of April 13, the Iranian armed forces attacked Israeli territory with drones and missiles. According to some estimates, between 400 and 500 unmanned drones and about 150 missiles were fired at Israeli military targets.
Later, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Daniel Hagari said the military facilities suffered minimal damage. There are no reports of casualties in Israel.
