
Flooding occurred in the Kolos gardening association in the Pribaikalsky district of the Republic of Buryatia, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic reported on April 16.
According to the results of the inspection, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that at 2:30 Moscow time the flood flooded several streets of SNT, affecting 420 areas. The Ministry of Emergency Situations evacuated 23 people, three of them children.

Recall that on April 15, the head of the republic, Alexey Tsydenov, announced that a flood had begun in the Ivolginsky district of Buryatia. More than 10 residential buildings were damaged. 22 people were evacuated to temporary accommodation centers, six of whom were children.
Sappers of the Eastern Military District, in collaboration with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, carried out targeted blasting operations to eliminate ice jams on the bed of the Selenga River. A high alert regime has been introduced in several regions of Buryatia.
