
In the Astrakhan region, raids are carried out on agricultural enterprises to identify migrant workers using drones, the Astrakhan.Ru Internet portal reported on April 15.
In a meeting with the regional governor, labor migration issues in the region were discussed. According to the acting head of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Astrakhan region, Valentina Kalugin, following the results of the first quarter, specialized structures drew up more than 1,500 administrative protocols on violations of migration legislation and expelled 228 immigrants illegal.
Kalugina also reported that law enforcement officers are conducting raids on construction sites and agricultural enterprises. With the help of a drone, the police can identify and arrest violators. Last week, 20 immigrants were detained, 10 of them will be expelled from the country.
