The Government of the Russian Federation designated the State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) as the sole supplier of drones under government contracts for the period 2024-2025; The corresponding order was published on April 16 on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
“Determine the joint-stock company “State Transport Leasing Company” as the sole supplier of procurement of unmanned aerial systems carried out by federal executive authorities, as well as institutions subordinate to them according to the list in the annex in 2024-2025 in to carry out measures that ensure the implementation of state civil order”the document says.
It should be noted that STLC is the largest leasing company in the Russian Federation, its activities are aimed at providing state support to the transport industry and transport engineering, as well as attracting extra-budgetary investments for the development of these areas.
The company is 100% owned by the State represented by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
