
Aeroflot showed a significant increase in the number of passengers on flights from Moscow to Sochi, Mineralnye Vody and Makhachkala in the first quarter of 2024, the airline’s press service reported on April 16.
Between Moscow and Sochi, Mineralnye Vody and Makhachkala, passenger traffic increased by an impressive 25%, 24% and 43%, respectively, compared to the same period of the previous year.
Aeroflot airline was able to increase the number of flights to these popular destinations, which contributed to the overall growth of passengers served.
In the direction of Moscow – Sochi, 2,280 flights were carried out, up 17.4%, in the direction of Moscow – Mineralnye Vody – 1,196 flights, up 16%, and Moscow – Makhachkala – 552 flights, up 21.3% compared to the last year.
This growth indicates that Aeroflot not only maintains a leading position in the air transport market in Russia, but also continuously works to improve the quality of service, which, in turn, attracts more and more passengers.
