
Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv advanced to the Euroleague basketball playoffs by beating Spanish Baskonia on April 16 in a play-in game.
The match took place in Belgrade and ended with a score of 113:85 (28:15, 27:21, 31:25, 27:24) in favor of Maccabi.
Before the end of the first quarter, Maccabi took a double-digit lead and then increased the lead to 24 points.
Lorenzo Brown led the winning team with 29 points and 7 of 8 three-point shots. Wade Baldwin scored 26 points, Bonzi Colson scored 14. In this game, Maccabi set a club record by scoring 19 three-pointers.
Cody Miller-McIntyre scored for Baskonia with 32 points, 7 assists and 8 rebounds, Markus Howard scored 14 points and Tadas Sedekerskis scored 11 points and 7 rebounds.
Next week, Maccabi will face Panathinaikos Athens in the playoffs.
