The verdict of the Elista City Court of the Republic of Kalmykia was delivered to the organizer and five other members of the extremist group “Criminal Unit of Prisoners” (AUE) (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation). The charge was filed under article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Organization of the activities of an extremist organization, as well as participation in it.” This was reported on February 2 by the press service of the Russian Federal Security Service in the Republic of Kalmykia (RK).
Propaganda of the “ideology of thieves”, recruiting new members into the ranks of the group, as well as inciting hatred and enmity towards law enforcement officers, the court indicted the convicted and sentenced the organizer to prison for a period of 6 ,5 years to be served in a strict regime correctional colony, participants from 2 to 4.5 years.
In April last year, in the pre-trial detention center No. 1 in the city of Elista, FSB and Kalmyk policemen “covered” a cell of the extremist organization AUE (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation).
The organizer of the group was a resident of the Zavetinskiy district of the Rostov Shamil region. G, 35 years old, convicted of robbery, according to Panorama Rostov-on-Don.
Shamil was in charge of the common fund for thieves in the pre-trial detention center. For the uninterrupted flow of money to the ATM, he used the ideology and propaganda of the organization.
Thanks to the joint activities of the regional department of the Federal Penitentiary Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kalmykia, the criminal activity of convicts who served their sentences in correctional colony No. 1 was revealed.
